Job Description

About the Role:
We are hiring a dedicated Personal Insurance Broker to join our dynamic team. You will be the primary contact for individuals and families looking to protect their homes, cars, and personal assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Consult with clients to assess personal insurance needs and recommend appropriate solutions.

  • Prepare quotes, explain coverage options, and close new policies.

  • Manage policy renewals, changes, and service requests promptly.

  • Provide guidance and support to clients during claims situations.

What You’ll Be In Charge Of:
Helping our clients secure peace of mind by delivering outstanding advice, coverage, and service.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in personal lines insurance sales or service.

  • Familiarity with home, auto, and umbrella insurance products.

Education:

  • High school diploma required. College diploma or relevant coursework in Insurance or Business is an asset.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.

  • Proficiency with broker management systems and quoting software.

Certifications (preferred but not mandatory):

  • RIBO License (mandatory if operating in Ontario)

  • CIP or CAIB designations are considered an asset
